BIO:
1986 - Born (24) Huddersfield, UK.
2002-2004 - Huddersfield, Highfields School of Art, National Diploma in Graphic Design and Illustration, gained two distinctions and an A level in photography.
2004-2007 - Bradford School of Arts, gained a First class B.A.(Hons)Degree in Graphic Media Communication.
2007-2008 - After graduation I experimented in my lab and grew a beard.
2008-2010 - Took a job as a designer at global agency Attik Leeds UK. clients including Coca-Cola, Philips, Canon, Virgin etc.
Present (2010 onwards)- Freelance illustration, art, design, collaborations and projects.
The Work:
My work encompasses a number of areas within the field of design and art.
My main interests and expertise lie in the Illustration and graphic design of printed matter, posters, publications, book covers, book illustration, catalogues, Magazines, stationary, packaging, and visual identities.
I think that design should be timeless, and approach my work within the idea that design is art.
Along with my commissioned work I like to find things that interest me and respond, creating art and studying certain subjects. I generally work with gouache, vectors, pencil and ink.
